Community theatre is no longer an art which take place between sliding-doors. It has deserved a place in the theatres and justly so! The performances in the Netherlands are (in general) of high quality and the different professional trainings in Holland are first ranking. Together with the rise of free time, people like to play theatre. The amount of community theatre-groups is increasing. That's the reason that I have decided (already seven years ago) to start a Website fully dedicated to this artistic free-time hobby. It has become a website full of information about community-theatre- troupes, -courses, -organizations a.s.o. in the Netherlands. I really hope that it will be a helpful site for you abroad and I will always be open for good suggestions!

My site has been designed to serve a primarily Dutch audience. Of course I also want to accomodate non-Dutch readers. If you  have any questions regarding the services and/or the addresses regarding community theatre, do not hesitate te send me an E-mail. Therefore....
